Finally decided to make that move and add video your to web site, eh? Exciting! The strategies below should help you make the most out of your new venture.

1) Embed videos uploaded to other web site s

This is the easiest way to add video to your web site. Simply upload to a video hosting web site of your option (eg. YouTube or Vimeo). Then you simply copy and paste the embed code.

This option is really nice because

• it is free

• saves you disk space

• saves you bandwidth

The only disadvantage is the videos will have logo of the hosting website on top of the video.

2) Sign up for a streaming service

With this option you upload the videos to a dedicated server which stores and streams your videos. This can be substantially useful if you want to maintain a high profile image since no other company logo will be displayed on your videos.

You might want to use this if you have a member only website and want to make sure nobody else watches videos (besides your members, that is ).

3) Create flash movies and embed them

This solution requires a bit of technical knowledge. If you are comfortable using flash you can;

• Create a flash movie and embed it

• Convert your current movies into .swf format and download a free flash player. You then place it on your webpage.

You can find nice flash media players by doing a easy Google search.

The problem with this method is it can be time consuming. It is furthermore harder for the user to move the video pointer to a specific location in the clip.

4) Consider a live webcast.

Your visitors will definitely love this! Thanks to the Web, you could actually wide cast live for the whole world to watch!

There’s an amazing service called Mogulus that allows you to host a live show using your webcam. And optimum of all it’s free.

The downside is short commercials every 8 minutes or so. Still, you might sign up for a Pro paid service that takes out the commercials.

5) Do not put a lot of videos on one page

Your safest bet is one video per page. Create a ‘contents’ page with thumbnails to other videos.

little is scarier to a visitor than a cluttered webpage. You know how simple it is to click away, right?

6) Do not let the videos auto-play

This is specifically vital if you ignore point 5 above. Yes , it’s a cool feature but it will could do you more harm than nice.

Personally , I find it eminently irritating when I open a webpage and hear sound coming from a video or elsewhere.

Use your judgement. If you feel auto-play works for your visitors go for it!

7) Make transcripts of your videos

If your videos are rich in information make a transcript of it and place it right below the videos.

Your visitors will appreciate it since they can miss some of the things said in the video.

Search Engines will now be able to find your pages more easily, since they now have something they can understand!

You may likewise provide transcripts from your videos in PDF format in ex differ for signing to your op-in list. Or you may sell them.

This is a pretty much, underused strategy.

To get an idea of where Web music is headed it is necessary to understand the history. Let’s think back to the time when music downloads 1st became popular. For me it was spurred in the early Napster days. Everyone was out there going crazy grabbing any and all music they may find in the absence of consequence. Then the RIAA came along and said “wait guys that’s our copyrighted content you are downloading.” Since that time the RIAA has been fighting an uphill battle to end copyright infringement.
After the early days of Napster and peer to peer file sharing a new crop of websites popped up offer ing legal music downloads. Even Napster went legit signing deals with major labels to offer unlimited access to their offer ings. In order to make this a reality the record industry had to come up with a way to protect their investment.
Along came digital rights management ( Digital Rights Management ). New Digital Rights Management technologies have been used to limit access to media. In essence as long as you are subscribed to Rhapsody for example you may download and listen to as many tunes as you like. You may even performance them on your mp3 player (excluding iPod and Zune). The Digital Rights Management kicks in by restricting the number of devices you have access from and cutting access completely when you end the subscription.
In addition, businesses chose to run their personal brand of Digital Rights Management. This means that if you own an iPod or Zune player your options are decidedly restricted. Apple and Microsoft do their perfect to force you into using iTunes and Zune Marketplace.
Over the final couple years things have vary d quite a bit. Web stores including Amazon and Wal-Mart signed deals with the major labels to sell Digital Rights Management free song downloads. They key here is that you are paying a cost for each MP3 song you download but get the music in the absence of Digital Rights Management restrictions. Even iTunes has started offer ing Digital Rights Management free downloads.
Still another challenge that faces Web media businesses is the ISP’s battle to lower network traffic and thus lower congestion during peak times. The lack of network infrastructure, particularly in the US, is a ample concern. Throttling traffic or charging customers for metered access as Comcast and Time Warner are currently testing may drive away customers. all of us no longer live in a world of text email and static Web pages. websites now offer rich content including streaming audio and video, social integration and an interactive set ting for individuals to gather just as you would at your local/regional watering hole. Hopefully customers will voice their concerns and ISP’s will in turn expand their network infrastructures to allow for our ever growing bandwidth needs.
So where does this leave us? I recall mentioning excitement about the future of Web downloads prior to my rants. Web music websites are looking ahead to the future. With the ability to download tunes to PC, cellular phone or other web-enabled devices you’ll have access to the latest tunes from anywhere at whenever. websites like eMusic, Amazon MP3 and Wal-Mart Music have shown that the Digital Rights Management free music is the way of the future. The next step will be to figure a way for websites like Rhapsody and Napster to offer unlimited access to Digital Rights Management free music for a monthly subscription fee. I’ll be the 1st to admit that this is no simple task but one that may prove decidedly profitable to the music industry in this ever growing digital age.
The excitement extends beyond music as businesses like Netflix offer a large selection of movie downloads free to subscribers. We’re not talking about just watching on your PC either. With a set top box you may download films to watch directly on your television. Industry experts predict that within several years you won’t run to your local/regional video store to rent the latest DVD movies. Instead you’ll simply watch them whenever on demand via download. Alright so I may hear some of you saying yeah but how long do the movies take to download? I may tell you that with Netflix I may start watching about 30 seconds following the download begins. The rest of the movie downloads while I am enjoying the film.
In conclusion the future of Web media is shining bright. Customer’s spend ing habits may endorse record labels and ISP’s accept that the future of music and movies is Web rather than in record and video stores. The instant gratification of having access to millions of tunes or thinking of a movie and watching it a minute later is enough to make me want to cease typing. So sit back, relax and enjoy what the future has in store.

If you search your favorite search engine, you’ll doubtless find lots of links to Web Meditation Music. Some of them will doubtless turn out to be red herrings – PC’s are nowhere near as clever as they think they are when it comes to finding things. But in amongst the dross, you’ll like ly find some excellent Web meditation music.
Quite many this will be available as free samples. The authors want you to buy their music and the perfect way of doing this is to give you a free sample in much the same way as you’ll a number of times be offer ed free food samples at your local/regional supermarket.
The meditation music sample will like ly be limited in length or of a lower d quality. It’s quite common for a sample to be about the same quality as an AM music station (if you have not got one of those local/regional ly, think audio recorded onto a cheap cassette tape). The incentive is that you’ll get the full CD quality version when you buy the complete track. This may be a decidedly nice way to sample the variety of meditation music that’s available for download.
If you resort to illegal download website s, be careful. In fact, since meditation is all about calmness and karma, be especially careful. The bad karma associated with downloading a person else’s work in the absence of compensating them for the endeavor they’ve put in may even outweigh the risk of downloading viruses and spyware that’s a number of times associated with unofficial downloads.
Stay safe – there’s plenty of free or cheap meditation music Web.

The Web music segment has now al the majority taken shape of a regularised industry. Although the demon of music piracy is still looms large but the future seems to be bright with newer ideas. But the contentious issue of Web music sharing is refusing to die down. Music download websites are making there presence felt all over the Web as more and more individuals are downloading music illegally. This has hit the music industry badly but now things are changing a little bit.
Independent researchers have found the fact that individuals who share music Web also spend a lot on buying music legally. This further substantiates the finding of The Leading Question, a digital music research firm who found out that they spent four and a half times more on paid-for music downloads than average fans ! These fans are just crazy about tunes and concert of their idols and go to any length to enrich their respective music collections by quality music!
If that means spend ing resources the majority of them are game for it and if that means downloading music that’s pirated (but free) from free music download websites they are not averse to it either! Such is the craze of music amongst these ‘musical fanatics’ they need to carry their favorite playlist with them all the time. Here’s where the Web music download phenomenon comes into the picture as the majority of the music fans carry a MP3 player or a MP3 music player integrated cellular phone that satiates there need to listen to music 24×7, for the majority of them it is there addiction.
They download the music from the free music download websites or buy it from a registered website or a portal. They are game to do just about anything to get hold of the latest chartbuster on the block or even if it is the classic Elvis or Beatles number, all one needs to do is to tap the right source. Now what’s the definition of right simply depends on the user!

The tunes are out there.
Floating around in the Internet, all just a mouse click away, are hundreds and hundreds of tunes, the tunes that you love, the soundtrack of your life, that favorite ditty, the melody you 1st heard as a kid and have loved ever since, the album that you grew up on. It’s all so decidedly available smack dab in the middle of cyber space. No need for a trip to the neighborhood music shop.
See, there is no question that the advent of the Web has vary d the way all of us all live; it has brought us into a brand new age. But no vary wrought by the Internet has had expansive r impact than the complete transformation of the music world. all of us have really come quite long wat since the days of LP albums and, ugh, eight-track tapes. The way all of us all listen to music has vary d, and it is continuing to vary along with the explosion in social networking on the Internet. Do you want to ride the wave of that vary? You can, simply by plugging in to the latest trend in Web music.
What’s the name of that trend? It’s called music sharing. Remember sharing? That one thing they kept stressing back in kindergarten? The only difference nowadays is that sharing is not about letting some other kid have a turn with the Speak-n-Spell; now it refers to the decidedly coolest thing to do with your tunes. And the nice part is – everybody else is sharing their music too!
See, just imagine all the tunes you love – and not just those old stand-bys, not merely the tunes you know by heart and may pretty much sing in your sleep, but also all the tunes you love but do not own, or that catchy modern tune you caught on the radio, that haunting melody you recognize but cannot quite place. You may find it all on the Internet, where the individuals who want to share those tunes with you want you to share your music with them.
It’s a music revolution – and it is oh-so-simple!

Music is the essence of the day to day life of any person. It’s immaterial that you are young or aged, the love for music among individuals never dies. Being a music lover, I know that the thirst for nice music never ends and how is it possible when it is such a sweet and soft gift for us.
In the early days, individuals had to buy music cassettes or records as soon as they were launched in the market. Once in a while, it also happened that any specific music was not available due to finished stock or other factors. But today, with the endorse of new technology such as Mp3, the distribution of music has become even faster and much expansive r. Now you have the options for music cassettes, compact disc ( CD ), digital versatile disc (DVD), mp3’s and also Web websites that let you hear the music of your choice.
If you wish to purchase a music CD you have to visit the store that requires your time and Assuming that the album is in huge demand then it may happen that you have to wait until the next day. Web music makes it decidedly easier whereby you may effortlessly find the song tracks you wish to hear. There are many Web music websites whereby you may enter the name of the song or the musician you wish to listen and the track s venue be played Web.
To get access to Web music, you need to have a PC with the compatible software such as media player, an Internet connection and attached sound system. Most of the websites offer free music service whereby there are no charges involved except the download charges that you need to pay with your Internet bill.
You may also make a collection of your favorite music tracks just by downloading from the website into the hard disk drive of your PC which you may later burn in a compact disc. This saves your resources from buying diverse music albums if you love tunes of numerous artists and movies that are not available in a single album.

Using the Internet to find music you like to listen to and build your music collection in any style of music is an simple and affordable way to add to your music library as you may effortlessly burn your own CD ’s or download mp3’s to your iPod or other music player. It’s also a excellent way to find out about current and new artist s, new album and single releases, get free lyrics and find free music downloads. The popular free iTunes software and music library allows you to create your own music library, find television shows, podcasts and get free music downloads and for only $0.99 a song download you cannot really go wrong. Plus there are many websites Web where you may find free music videos and mp3 downloads like YouTube, MySpace, Rawkus, CD Baby, Soundclick and so many others.
What does this mean for the future of music? With the everyday consumer buying on average 2 new music albums a month this may have an effect on the music industry but the majority shops like Virgin, HMV and other well known music retail shops also have Web websites which offer even more discounts and at times a music community so the music lovers using the Internet may only promote music sales.
The Internet is also a nice place for independent artists in the absence of a major record label to upload and promote their music. There are many independent music websites where you may create your own profile, update fans with your news and even sell your own music. The royalty businesses like ASCAP, PRS, Harry Fox and BMI also have Internet music licenses you may get so that you receive royalties and commissions for all music plays on Internet radio stations, and for any music downloads and mp3 or CD sales.
You may even make your own music by buying and downloading music production and creation software you find Web to your PC or laptop and if you have a nice sound card and microphone you may make and record your own music and beats decidedly easily. In fact, you may find hundreds of free loops and backing tracks you may download and even license for commercial use making it simple for the music producer and songwriter to make their personal music.
And if you want to learn about music, study an instrument or get advice on the music industry you may do a search on the Internet and find so much free and useful information in articles and on music websites and blogs.
Does this take away the traditional way of making and playing music for the artist? Some think so but you may look at it like this; the Internet has opened up the whole globe to us and you may make nice music contacts from all over the world and build your own world expansive fan base just by promoting your music Web. Music you may never have even heard of has become effortlessly available and the whole music scene and industry has benefited and grown because of Internet and satellite communications.
You may see then that using the Internet connects music lovers around the world and Cyber Technology has made it easier for the songwriter and artist to create and record their personal music. Plus it opens doors for the independent music musician and also stimulates exposure for major record label artists so that they may build their fan base and sell more of their music.

Music in the absence of any doubt may be termed as food for life. It surely has lots of perks and is a heal er of many discomforts. It also is a excellent motivator. A nice song and music may fill the soldiers with vigor and enthusiasm to take on the may of the enemy and overcome the the majority trying circumstances.
Music also sets up the mood for any opportunity. A nice number may make anyone dance to its tunes. A nice music may enliven an evening. Similarly a prayer accompanied by light music may make the entire opportunity turn decidedly solemn.
Music, it may be said, is for every opportunity and is everywhere. The wind flowing or the water trickling down from mountain in the form of a stream also carry their personal distinctive music with them. Similar is the case with a cuckoo that so moistens the entire atmosphere in its melancholic voice or that of the leaves that so breathes life into a dull atmosphere with its flutter in the wind.
This passion for nice music is also being understood and encased by mobile manufacturers who install such features that allow individuals to download tunes and music of their choice from Internet in addition to the already programmed music in the gadget.
Internet has grown in a decidedly ample way over the years and has truly become one popular prohibit for music lovers across the world. As Internet casts its net far and expansive, Web music has also gained popularity throughout the world. The central reason for the popularity of Web music is the fact that one gets an access to the music of entire world cutting across the barriers of language, culture and country.
The music of entire world is scattered in front of you and you just have to choose whether you want to download mp3 tunes of the latest Hollywood movies or the hits of an era gone by. The perfect thing about Web music is the fact that one may free download music of one’s choice. No wonder then that Web music is one of the the majority happening things in the world today.
