There can be different views as regards music but one fact cannot be ignored that it has a wonderful effect on our feelings. When a child takes birth, it begins reacting to the many sounds in its surroundings such as toys, human voice and others. At times, when you see someone shouting or screaming with joy, it at the same time affects you and fills you with joy.

Now, scientists have proved that music likewise effect the development of human brain too. When a baby is born, it has billion of brain cells, over times these cells grow stronger. It has been proved that kids who grow up listening music have strong music connections. It affects the way of your thinking, for example, listening to classical music enhances your spatial reasoning and if you learning by playing with an instrument, it has effect on certain thinking skills.

It is true that music makes one smarter? Not all the times because music controls some cells of the brain for a particular way of thinking. After listening to classical music, one can expeditiously perform some spatial tasks such as adults can expeditiously solve jigsaw puzzle. This is because the classical music pathways are similar to the pathways used in spatial reasoning. Listening to classical music, these pathways are “turned on” and are ready to be used. This is how you can solve puzzle expeditiously but finals for a short time after listening to music. Playing an instrument additionally stimulates the spatial skills as research has proved that music training produces new pathways in the brain.

Use of classical music. The structure of classical music is much complex as compared to rock, jazz or pop. Child who listens to classical music effortlessly selects out the structure and recognizes any classical music he has heard before. Therefore, listening t o classical music has a divergent effect as compared to other forms of music.

How to nurture your child with music? You may simply advocate your child to build his love for music by playing music for your child, singing to your baby, start taking early music lessons, sing with your child or advocate your child to learn music education at the school.

Progressive rock music 1st came to life in the 1960s, as an electric, ambitious and imposing rock music style and in less than a decade, the whole world embraced this form of rock. Although the 1970’s were thought to be the best years of progressive rock music, this kind of music has not died, and to this day people fill stadiums to listen to progressive rock bands. This form of rock started in England and soon conquered the whole of Europe with its grandiose style, influenced by jazz or classical music.

Rush and Kansas where the first two performers that adopted the European rock style and brought it to America, where rock was mainly influenced by country or rhythm and blues music. Rush is a Canadian band formed in the 1968 in Toronto, Ontario. After its birth, this progressive rock music band was faced with many challenges until the year 1974, when it finally achieved its definitive form. Rush embraced the progressive rock style and took it to another level, due to its members’ instrumental skills, eclectic motifs and complex compositions. The three band members, Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart, began by playing heavy metal that was inspired by blues and moved on to encompassing modern rock or hard rock, until they have established their personal form of progressive rock music.

Rush was not only a exceptional example of progressive rock music, but also an model for many other performers. This progressive rock band has influenced many exceptional performers, such as The Smashing Pumpkins or Metallica, and they have also paved the way for progressive metal bands such as Dream Theatre. Rush have in business d many music styles in their tunes and, with every album, they have grown and evolved as a band. The rough times they have gone through at the beginning of their career only made it possible for this band to be where it’s now, promoting their nineteenth album, Snakes & Arrows, released in 2007.

Progressive rock music is fortunate to have known a performer such as Rush. Since 1974, when the performer released its 1st album, called Rush, they have managed to release no less than twenty-four gold records and fourteen platinum records, placing the performer on the fifth place in the top of the consecutive gold records by a rock band. Nonetheless, for Rush, gold or platinum albums are not enough, for they care a lot about the message they are sending out there, as well as about their fans. The live performances that Rush gives are truly amazing, as this performer accurately describes all the songs that they perform. On stage they recreate numerous sounds through the use of digital samplers; they performance their primary instrument and additionally trigger sounds with their available limbs, so every song they perform can be identical to the one on the album.

Since the year progressive rock music came to life, Rush has always found a way to deliver this form of rock to individuals’s hearts, mixing numerous sounds and using eclectic lyrical motifs, but always staying true to rock and what they believe in.

Those who are young or relatively new to the HipHop culture do not realize that Rap Music has a lot of diverse type of s:

East Coast: The East Coast, the majority notably NY City, was the genesis for rap music hitting the mainstream. Run-D.M.C. led the pack, with Rakim and Big Daddy Kane furthermore breaking through to make rap emerge as a national phenomenon.

The turn of the century brought many new technology to the world and with that it brought the music industry a whole lot of problems. To deal with declining sales and continuous losses, record labels are locating new ways of raising money by focusing on varying aspects of their business such as Internet marketing and consumer feedback rather than basing everything on CD sales.

Historically, record labels have based everything on CD sales. The idea of MySpace Music is innovative as they realized that they need to move into a new area of business. The Web and the ease of illegal file sharing have long broken the business to consumer relationship. Rather than fighting against the trend, the industry has decided to take advantage of the easy accessibility of the Web to move to the B to B model of marketing. MySpace is a very large social networking website with over 120 million users who go Online al the majority everyday to check on friend updates and music. The new MySpace Music has already made millionaire deals with McDonald’s and Toyota Motors who want to advertise on the website since so a lot of users check on artist’s updates unending ly.

As mentioned, the business to consumer relationship broke down a few years back when a lot of individuals began downloading music from the Internet rather than paying for CD’s. Record Labels accused these users of theft and a lot of cases have led to trials. In order to create a new relationship, record labels are focusing on consumer emotions to promote profits. The accessibility to videos, podcasts, music and games via Internet makes it possible for consumers to create a more individual relationship with their preferred artists. Rapper T.I. began sending videos in which he talks to his fans about what he is currently working on. Other artists let fans ask them questions, which they will reply to via private or public messages on the web.

Whether these strategies will work or not is uncertain, but at least the industry is innovating. Actually, they’re trying to innovate. It’s a reality that most of these innovations are started from garages and build all the way to multi-billion dollar operations. Now,how is it possible that the record companies with billions of dollars of resources can’t get a handle on innovation?

Innovation has always been directly proportionate with vary. The traditional business model of the music industry and their unwillingness to vary has caused them to lose their competitive edge in the market, thus forfeiting billions of dollars to innovations such as Itunes. Therefore, the music industry has partnered with MySpace.com to make a better worth proposition for the consumer offer ing them a means of communication, social interaction and alternate forms of music media such as ring tones and pod casts. Itunes have established this worth proposition for the consumer by offer ing them music previews of their preferred musicians and purchase of their the majority preferred songs instead of the whole album. The music industry is additionally trying to follow in the footsteps of the movie industry by energeticly promoting merchandising. These endeavors are too late as the 21st Century market still proves to us that going against a trend is al the majority always unprofitable for businesses. The music industry must focus on their current operations and allocate their resources to creating new innovations for distributing their music to the masses rather than being followers of past- preferred technologies and trends. Only then, they will be able to succeed competing against rival technology businesses and recover some of the profits they have lost in the past decade.

We cannot deny the truth that Web Marketing plays a very big role in leveraging innovation. It provides the means of wide casting your message to millions of users and consumers with the click of a button. All you need to know is how to click.

I’ve been asked many times, during my work, about what the quickest way to succeed with music is.

While I don’t have any magic formula, one thing is for sure; video and web sites like YouTube may unusually swift spread the word about you and your music.

Below are some suggestions that will help you achieve better solutions with your On-line video promotion.

1) Do not just focus on your music – give something back

A clever music video might really get you far but let’s face it – most individuals Internet are not looking for your video.

So instead you might produce content that is of interest to your fans. It might be anything from how-to videos to discussing current affairs.

You can likewise create an rousing character(example youtube.com/fred) – what matters is it ought to be really useful and/or really fun!

2)Link! Link! Link!

I wish I might say “this goes in the absence of saying”.

There have been a lot of times when I wanted to check out a band but there was no link to their website.

Always make sure you put your web site or MySpace URL in a corner of the video.

On YouTube if you type in your description start with http:// . That way a link will appear and your fans may click and go straight to your website.

It will might work out optimum if you add an incentive: a free download or a competition for instance.

3)Save yourself time; use TubeMogul.

This is an amazing tool. I couldn’t recommend it more , just try it and you’ll inderstand.

What Tubemogul does is, it distributes your video to all the major video hosting web sites at once!

I has links so you might briskly register on each web site. Tubemogul will seller your login details and that’s it!

Every time you have a new video just upload it once to Tubemogul and they will do all the work for you!

There’s also a feature that allows you to track videos, use social bookmarking and more. Visit tubemogul.com for more details.

4)Make your video available for phones, iPods etc.

Personally I use the software that came with my mp3 player but for your sake I decided to test the Xilisoft 3GP Video Converter. I downloaded the trial version and I must say I was quite impressed with the determinations. IT is also uncommonly well priced (at the time of writing $29). YOu simple add your video file and click convert.

You could furthermore choose to Google “phone video converter”. You will get quite several good choices.

Once you’ve converted your video make sure it is downloadable from your website.

You can offer it as an incentive to join your mailing list or ask for a small donation for a bundle of your cool videos for the phone

5) Title it properly.

The way you name your video will affect the number of views you get.

This is a bit tricky because even if you name two videos the same, their number of views could differ greatly.

The best way is to experiment.

Word of caution; if a title is getting you a nice number of views leave it the way it is! Changing it back can not bring the same solutions.

I think it has something to do with the way videos are indexed for search purposes.

likewise don’t spam; make sure your title matches the content. Ignore this at your own risk; you can get banned from certain web sites for spamming.

6) Use YouTube annotations.

YouTube now has a cool feature which allows you to place note in your videos as well as link to other videos.

Put in your thoughts, place a URL to your web site or MySpace, explain a thought further.

Used sparringly you can use this feature to enrich the content of your video.

7) More useful sources for promoting your video on the Web

I’ve added several links to related source s

Bob-Baker.com – Bob Baker (very well known in the circles of Web music promotion) has written a complete book on the subject. I believe you will find it useful and fun to read.

videocodezone.com – a lot of cool features including submitting music videos, and converting them to many formats( including for phones and iPods)

If you would prefer to get your music video to Yahoo!Music send a BetaSP copy to Yahoo! Music Video Submission

Yahoo! Music Video Submission

If you have been following my previous articles, you should know that the focus of your Web music promotion should be two things.

At least in the beginning you want to concentrate on;

• getting visitors to your website ( likewise known as website traffic)

• building your mailing list

As you work on getting individuals to your website, you’ll be tempted to use certain techniques that will promise to give you faster results.

Some forms of promotion simply won’t work for you, as a musician. Spamming could work for Viagra marketers and get-rich-quick schemes but believe me; you could only HURT yourself trying it.

Unsolicited emails will only make people hate you. And they know who sent it to them!

Traffic ex varys will get you traffic but it’s pretty much useless. Many of the individuals who use them are either trying to get rich quick or doing the same thing as you; getting themselves more traffic.

In other words, the individuals on traffic ex changes do not care about you, your website or your music!

You might get things looking nice when it comes to number of your web site’s visitors and Alexa ranking.

But then comes the moment of truth. The numbers you actually care about the most might not be so good. I am talking about your sales.

What good is it to have 20 000 people on your mailing list if nobody buys or turns up to see your show?

What you should do instead is be patient. Learn how to build a targeted traffic and mailing list. Really master the basics of Online marketing. You’ll see solutions and with time, you’ll see more resources in your bank account.

individuals will love you for what you do and you’ll feel good about it.

Before all of us begin, I would advice you to use a professional music video production company. There are a lot of services that would give you the quality you need at low price. Some may actually save you time and money.

Shooting yourself, however, might actually be quite fun and an exciting experience. Let’s get to the good stuff then!

1) Preparation is King!

In all film and video production planning is what saves you time and money. How much you prepare can make the difference amidst success and failure.

One of the 1st things all of us were taught in film school has been Murphy’s law – “Everything that might go wrong, will go wrong!”

Just make sure you go down this list and make sure you plan ahead of time.

2) Your idea and script

You need to 1st know what you are going to shoot. Brainstorm pointers and see what you want to go with.

This is going to form the basics of your planning. You may select to ignore this step, at your peril.

3) Choose your director and crew

Somebody must take the responsibility for the production. As much as everybody would like to have a go, it is not really a good approach. Let one individual take charge.

A full crew listing is beyond the scope of this article but for a standard production have at least one person on the camera. I wouldn’t advice you to rent professional lights if you’re inexperienced get one person to be in charge of that.

If you have an individual who is nice with design and make up, that’s wonderful a s well

A runner is someone who standard ally does everything else as necessitated at a given time.

If employing a professional music video production company is not an option, you obvious ly want to do it on your own.

In the second part of this series all of us take a look at what all of us need to do on the actual shoot.

4) Location! Location! Location!

Where you pick to shoot the video amounts to more than 50 % of how your video is going to look. Some of the factors to consider are:

*are you getting it for free?

• how long the will location be available to you?

• whether or not you will need lights

• the overall appearance of the location – it does not have to be “nice” in the traditional sense of the word but it has to be interesting.

Location is so important that on professional shoots a location scout is paid just to find the right places for filming.

5) Getting the shots

It is always best to plan your shots ahead of time or even make a storyboard. A storyboard is simple a group of drawings that represent what shots and camera angles you will be using.

They can be easy stick drawings, just to guide the director and the lights/camera crew.

One of the perfect ways you may shoot is;

• get a “ wide shot” of the whole scene, 1st ;

• and then move in closer and closer with your camera for the other shots.

Afterwards you could also get little details such as the drummer’s hands with the sticks or the guitar select against the strings.

6) Working together

Shooting a music video can be really intensive. ofttimes conflicts could arise.

It’s important that everybody knows what their job is on the performance. It’s always perfect not to interfere with others’ work. Even if you think they’re not doing things the way you believe they ought to.

When everybody is having fun and enjoying themselves it will show in the last product. And your audiences will find pleasure in it even more.

7) Editing your video

many people advocate using free software like Windows Movie Maker. personal ly, I think you would find it a very painful process.
